About this role

As we enter the market and scale our platform to eliminate waste and transform the global food system, we are seeking experienced, mission-aligned leaders to join our Board of Advisors (non-fiduciary role). Ideal candidates will bring deep expertise, strategic insight, and a passion for sustainable innovation. Whether you’re an experienced executive, operator, technologist, or domain expert, we are looking to diversify the skillset of our board and your voice at the table can help shape a company designed to create massive impact.

This is an equity-aligned opportunity. We are seeking individuals who are interested in being deeply connected to the company’s long-term success, both professionally and financially. Compensation structure and potential participation in long-term company growth will be discussed during the interview process.

Please Note: We are only seeking candidates that are interested in making a financial investment in exchange for common stock to be vested immediately. Stock options and cash bonus opportunities may also be available based on contribution and performance. What you'll be doing

  • Help establish the company’s vision, mission and purpose
  • Oversee the strategic direction of the firm
  • Manage the organization’s public image and reputation
  • Maintain legal compliance and integrity
  • Serve on one or more committees and provide updates
  • Support member and executive concerns

What we're looking for

  • Board experience a plus, but not required
  • Senior leadership experience with a track-record of success
  • Experience/understanding of the SaaS space
  • Understanding of the nuances related to launching an early-stage SaaS company 
  • Understanding of the dynamics surrounding fundraising
  • Experience/understanding the challenges leaders face today managing operations
  • Experience working with executive teams

Interview Process

Our extensive interview process will ensure that you have all the information necessary to determine if Kitchen Cloud is the right opportunity for you. We will provide full details and explore a mutual fit together throughout the process before any commitment is considered.

1. Introductory Conversation
Initial discussion with Chief Strategy Officer Bill Adams to explore background, experience, and overall alignment with the opportunity.

‍2. Private Materials & Due Diligence
Following execution of standard confidentiality documentation, additional company materials may be shared for review.

‍3. Executive Leadership and Board Interview
A deeper conversation with Co-Founders CJ Dulberger, Joshua Rapp and Board of Directors, focused on strategy, company direction, and potential areas of contribution.

‍4. Platform & Product Overview
A demonstration of the Kitchen Cloud platform to provide a clear understanding of the product, model, and market approach.

‍5. Targeted 1:1 Discussions
Optional one-on-one conversations with members of the executive team and/or board members to explore specific functional or strategic questions.

‍6. Final Alignment Discussion
 A closing conversation to confirm mutual fit, expectations, and potential next steps in advisory or board participation.

Thin Margins and Smart Solutions

Early in my career, I watched as the restaurant I worked for slowly bleed out. Not because the owner was incompetent. In fact, he was smart, hardworking, and passionate. But the margins were just too thin. Labor costs kept climbing. Food waste ate into profits. Rent never stopped coming due. And when the doors finally closed, it was easier to blame external forces than to face the real issue: we didn't have the systems, data, or technology to make smarter decisions fast enough.
